ATTACH THE MEAT MINCER ONTO
THE BISTRO STAND MIXER
1. Set the speed regulator of the BISTRO
Stand Mixer to «stop». Ensure that the
ON/OFF switch is set to «OFF» and the
unit is unplugged.
2. R emove attachment hub cover by
pressing on the top part (Fig. 2). Keep
the cover so that you can close the
attachment connection again after use.
3. Insert the meat mincer shaft housing
into the attachment hub of the
appliance. Turn the meat mincer
counterclockwise until it is completely
secured (Fig. 3).
To remove the meat mincer from the unit
proceed in reverse sequence. Set the speed
regulator of the BISTRO Stand Mixer to
«stop». Ensure that the ON/OFF switch is
set to «OFF» and the unit is unplugged. Do
not forget to re-attach the cover over the
accessory hub.
THIS IS HOW YOU USE THE MEAT
MINCER
The meat mincer chops and grinds meat,
fish, vegetables, firm fruits and cheeses.
NEVER LET THE MEAT MINCER RUN
TOGETHER WITH THE BISTRO STAND
MIXER FOR MORE THAN 5 MINUTES. USE
SPEED SETTING 4 OR 5.
1. Cut food into small strips or pieces.
Feed them into the top of the Meat
mincer body opening (1). Meat should
be cut into long narrow strips.
2. Set mixer to speed setting 4 or 5
and feed food into hopper using food
pusher/wrench (7).
NOTE: Liquid may remain in hopper
when processing large amounts of
high moisture foods such as tomatoes
or grapes. To drain liquid, continue to
operate mixer. Do not process additional
food until liquid has drained from hopper.
This will prevent damages to the unit.
Coarse grinding plate (4)
Use for grinding raw or cooked meats, firm
vegetables, dried fruits and cheese.
Fine grinding plate (5)
Use for grinding raw meats, cooked meats
for spreads.
Grinding meat:
For better mix and more tender results,
grind beef twice. Fatty meat should be
ground only once.
To loosen the ring:
If ring is too tight to remove by hand, slip
food pusher/wrench (7) over the ring and
turn counterclockwise (Fig. 4). Never use
the food pusher/wrench to tighten the ring!
CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE
Wash all parts with hot water. You
can use a mild detergent. Never use
any abrasive cleaner. You can clean
all parts of the meat mincer in the
dishwasher.
Make sure all parts are completely dry
before use.
Only use Authorized Service Centers for
repairs.
