SPECIAL ADVICE
MAINS CORD
If care is taken, a mains extension cable can be used.
If a mains extension cable is used, its electrical rating must
at least match that of the appliance. If the appliance is
earthed, the extension cable must be a three–core earthed
cable. The lengthened cable must not be allowed to hang
over the edge of the table or counter, children must
not be able to pull on it, and it must not be allowed to
present a trip hazard.
BEFORE USING THE HAND MIXER
Clean the hand mixer before using it for the first time.
See CARE AND MAINTENANCE section
ACCESSORIES
Your hand mixer comes with three accessories.
STIRRING WANDS (3)
The stirring wands smooth the mixture and prevent it
from forming lumps. They are also suitable for preparing
blancmanges, flans, etc. and mayonnaise.
This attachment may draw significantly less power or current.
DOUGH HOOKS (4a, 4b)
The dough hooks are particularly suitable for mixing vari-
ous types of dough such as bread and yeast dough.
The maximum rating is based on this attachment.
WHISK (5)
The whisk lends itself to incorporating air into a mixture,
as in the whipping of egg whites, cream, meringues and
mousses.
This attachment may draw significantly less power or current.
For US Customers only: This appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other).
